The SEEED Summit has ended
Welcome to the 2016 SEEED Summit! Whether you’re a social entrepreneur, student, academic, impact investor, policymaker, or plain ol’ fan of ’do well, do good’ business, we are so excited to have you join in the fun in learning, sharing, and collaborating to spur positive social change! This year’s conference theme is Growing Businesses with Impact. We will explore the unique challenges facing a social enterprise at three stages - launching, growing, and transforming - with half day modules. As you begin customizing your sched, please note that the schedule is subject to change, but fear not! We will keep you up to date with any changes so that you can curate accordingly.

Agraria Farm & Edibles- is a Rehoboth-based farm that strives to contribute a new model of small scale agriculture that provides sustainable and systemic change.

Beautiful Day- a nonprofit social venture with a mission to help newly-arrived refugees enter the job market. We own and operate a granola company that functions as our vehicle for job training education.

Bela Monde- a globally-inspired, American-made textile and apparel collection by designer and travel photographer, Lisa Limer.

Bellicchi's Best Biscotti- an RI based Biscotti business that donates 5% of profits to the Alzheimer’s Association and also plans to help others start successful home businesses.

Cabot Cheese- a cooperative of 1200 farmers that manufactures dairy products.

Craftland- a full-time, full-service shop in downtown Providence, Rhode Island that celebrates all kinds of sparkly handmade objects and the people who make them.

EbenGroup- a buy-one give-one backpack company that donates a backpack with school supplies to children lacking the resources for education. Plus 10% of the profits are donated to aid educational programs.

Genius Box- For curious young minds, Genius Box delivers a monthly STEM adventure right to your door packed with projects & learning opportunities.

Illuminatebox- an organization who's goal is to spur creative thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship among Cameroonian youths. 

Leah's Recipe- a snack line of evolved, plant-based, whole-food snacks that integrate into a health and wellness-based lifestyle.

Liberti- A lifestyle brand for the socially conscious consumer featuring beautiful accessories and jewelry authentically handcrafted in America to empower vulnerable resettled refugees here in the US.

Mumma's Real Lemonade- a speciality beverage company with a focus on cold pressed lemonade.

AAM Global Mission- A chemical free hair and skin product company that helps to fund AAM Global Mission, a non-profit that helps widows and orphans in remote areas of the world.

The Panika Project- A design-oriented social venture that seeks to bring to customers exciting travel accessories, crafted from unique textiles hand-woven in rural India.

Riverzedge Arts- Riverzedge Arts’ mission is to improve lives and places through art, design, and creative problem solving.

YANA (You Are Not Alone)- Through the creation of stylish, meaningful, eco-friendly, Made in the USA goods, YANA is creating a new way to show you care and stay connected through life’s difficult moments, as well as the celebratory ones. 

Unicorn Goods- a directory of animal-free products that are also good for people and the planet. 1% of our post-tax profits to pro-animal organizations.

Vitalives- When you purchase our vitamins, we give the same amount of micronutrients to a malnourished child. Nutrition for one, strength for another. One for one.

XOI- the first company to introduce the Vietnamese Gac Superfruit to US consumers through their gac-based beverages. They work with ethnic minority farmers in Vietnam to cultivate the Gac fruit fairly and sustainably.
